Man deemed threat to public safety found after Edmonton police search

A man considered a threat to public safety who was last seen in downtown Edmonton has been located, police say.

The 35-year-old man was last seen in the area of 102 Avenue and 106 Street on Thursday around 2:15 p.m., according to a news release from EPS on Friday.

Although officers hadn’t released any potential charges, they believed he posed a risk to the public and released his name and photo in order to find him.

On Saturday, EPS confirmed they had found the man.

Police have not indicated whether more charges have been made.
