Charges laid, one suspect on the run in 2015 homicide

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A warrant has been issued for a Calgary man accused in a 2015 murder.
Calgary police are searching for 23-year-old Kier Bryan Granado, who is charged with first-degree murder, in the death Hussein Merhi in December 2015.
Merhi was found in medical distress in a house on Del Ray Road that afternoon and later died on scene.
Police have arrested and charged one man, Joseph Trieu, 26, of Calgary with accessory after the fact to murder.
Granado is now wanted by police and it’s believed he may be in the Edmonton area.
Police also believe one other suspect was involved in the murder and have released video in hopes of finding out more about the incident.

Officers believe the murder was a targeted attack and Granado and Merhi were known to each other.
