Autopsy inconclusive on 3-year-old girl’s death in Edmonton apartment: EPS

Edmonton police (EPS) said they were unable to say if the death of a three-year-old girl inside a central Edmonton apartment last weekend is a homicide.

On May 23, officers were called to a building on Jasper Avenue and 91st Street where they found the toddler dead in one of the suites.

Investigators say an autopsy conducted on Wednesday was unable to determine the manner of death. A toxicology report is awaited.

The homicide unit continues to investigate.
