Edmonton’s Phase 1 parking ban to end Monday morning

Edmonton’s Phase 1 parking ban is set to end at 7 a.m. on Monday.

The parking ban was in place to allow room for crews to clear snow and ice from arterial roads, collector roads, bus routes and roads within business improvement areas accross the city.

The City of Edmonton says despite the end to the Phase 1 ban, it will not be activating a Phase 2 parking ban at this time.

Edmontonians are still encouraged to report winter road concerns through 311.
