Man charged with drug trafficking in Spruce Grove

Alberta RCMP say a 41-year-old man has been charged with drug trafficking in Spruce Grove.

Mounties executed a search warrant along McLeod Avenue in Spruce Grove.

The search was reportedly in connection to a drug investigation, where police were able to seize 243.5 grams of cocaine, 5 tablets of suspected fentanyl, 5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and $2,275 in cash.

Since, 41-year-old Tyler Wilkins has been charged with various drug-related offences.

Wilkins is expected to appear in court on Dec. 17.
