The Civic Service Union (CSU) 52, says its members have officially agreed to the last contract offer from the City of Edmonton.

On March 14, CSU the union representing civic workers in Edmonton and the City came to an agreement regarding contract negotiations.

Now, just over a week later, 83.5 per cent of the members who voted, voted in favor of the offer.

“While it’s unfortunate that this process has taken this long, we are glad that it’s come to a conclusion,” said Lanny Chudyk, Civic Service Union 52 President.

Chudyk adds that Edmonton Public Library members will be voting on their offer separately this week, and their results are expected on March 27.
