By News Staff

A 29-year-old woman’s death over the weekend has been ruled a homicide, an autopsy has concluded.

The Edmonton Police Service has identified the victim as Madisyn Denea.

Police say they are not revealing the cause of death “for investigative reasons.”

Officers responded to a home near 123 Avenue and 127 Street Sunday around 12:15 p.m. to assist EMS. They arrived to find the woman’s body.

The death was initially deemed suspicious, before Tuesday’s autopsy determined it was a homicide.

The EPS homicide section is investigating.
