Edmonton sees 10 shootings in November, down from October

Shootings in Edmonton decreased in November compared to a month earlier, according to police.

The Edmonton Police Service released its monthly shooting statistics Monday afternoon, saying the city recorded 10 shootings in November.

Shootings, however, were up compared to November 2024, which only saw six.

As of Nov. 30, there had been 131 recorded shootings in Edmonton, which is an 18 per cent increase, up from 111 at the same time in 2024.

Of the 10 shootings, nine are believed to have been targeted. Three of the 10 also resulted in injuries. No deaths were reported.
