Renowned Indigenous Cellist killed in highway crash returning from father's funeral

Renowned Indigenous cellist Cris Derksen was killed in a highway crash Friday evening near Slave Lake. According to online posts from family and friends, Derksen was fatally injured Friday leaving her father’s funeral in Northern Alberta.
