RCMP seize drugs following traffic stop

Police arrested three people with more than a kilo of cocaine during a Sherwood Park traffic stop.

RCMP pulled over a vehicle near Baseline Road and Broadmoor Boulevard on July 13.

That’s when officers discovered brass knuckles and a baton in the vehicle – which was also uninsured.

A search warrant later uncovered the drugs, cell phones and cash.

Charges are now pending.
