Edmonton police say a 26-year-old man has been charged in connection to a homicide in November.
Around 8:52 p.m. on Nov. 21, the EPS Community Safety Team was patrolling near 97 Street and 107 Avenue when they found a man dead.
They noted the man had suffered injuries, and the homicide section was notified.
An autopsy later confirmed the deceased as 42-year-old Burton Lee Gambler. The autopsy also found that the cause of death was sharp force injuries, and it was ruled a homicide.
Since, police have taken 26-year-old Keenan Antoine Singer Gladue into custody and have charged him with second-degree murder.
Additionally, police are looking to speak to a witness who was seen on video surveillance footage, which showed a man threatening said witness with a machete near the Joey Bell Tower around 7 p.m.
EPS has released an image from the surveillance footage, which shows the witness wearing a puffy jacket with the hood up.

They are being asked to come forward and contact investigators at 780-423-4567.
