Police looking to identify two men linked to armed robbery

Edmonton police are looking to identify two suspects believed to be involved in a recent armed robbery.

Police say on Jan. 5 around 11:45 p.m., two suspects entered a convenience store near 89 Street and 118 Avenue.

While in the store, one of the suspects pulled out a gun, pointed it at the cashier, and demanded money.

While this was happening, the second suspect reportedly also threatened the cashier with bear spray.

It is believed that both suspects took money from the till and stole additional items from the store before leaving.

One of the suspects has been described as a man roughly 5’10”, with a medium build and a light moustache. During the incident, he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, red and black ‘Echo’ brand shoes, and a black New York Yankees toque.

The second suspect has been described as a man, also around 5’10”. At the time, he was wearing a white face covering, dark grey jacket, blue jeans, and a black toque.

Police say both are considered to be armed and dangerous.
