FC Edmonton play Valour FC in home opener

Edmonton (CityNews) – The Canadian Premier League has released the remaining schedule for the 2021 season.

Starting July 30, CPL teams will start to play games at their own home venues after each playing eight initial matches in Winnipeg’s IG Field in what was dubbed ‘The Kickoff’.

This will be the first time since the league’s inaugural season where all clubs will play in front of their supporters, as the shortened 2020 season was played in P.E.I.

FC Edmonton will play their home opener on July 31 against Valour FC.
