Edmonton motorcyclist, 69, killed in highway collision with pickup truck

Mounties say an Edmonton man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Highway 627 in Parkland County on Thursday morning.

Parkland RCMP say it happened around 6:18 a.m. between Range Road 273 and 274.

The 69-year-old motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.

The 82-year-old Spruce Grove man behind the wheel of the pickup truck was uninjured.

Police say the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
