Edmonton massage therapist charged with sexual assault on client

An Edmonton massage therapist has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a client at his practice, Bamboo Wellness, located in the area of 34 Avenue and 97 Street, police say.

Investigators say Julio Uribe, 36, was charged with one count of sexual assault on June 10, 2026. He was released on conditions that he have no contact with the complainant and not attend the business where the alleged incident occurred.

Police believe there may be additional complainants and are asking anyone who may have had a similar experience with Uribe to come forward.

Support is available for anyone affected by sexual violence through local sexual assault support services or the Edmonton Police Service.

The EPS is asking anyone with information to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information may also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online.
