Edmonton police investigate motorcycle crash in Mill Woods Monday night

Edmonton police (EPS) are investigating a collision involving a motorcycle in Mill Woods Monday evening.

EPS said officers from its Southeast Branch patrol responded to collision between a motorcycle and a truck near 48 Street and 34 Avenue.

Upon arrival, police officers found the motorcyclist injured and administered first aid until EMS arrived.

“The male motorcyclist was then treated and transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries where he remains in stable condition,” EPS said.

The driver of the ruck remained on the scene and was not injured.

Monday night, a motorcycle was seen flipped on the ground with scattered debris and the road was blocked for investigation. Investigators from EPS’ major collision investigation unit were at the scene and the area was taped off.

The investigation is ongoing.
