Icy conditions in Edmonton cause car to flip on Argyll Road

Icy conditions caused a vehicle to flip on Argyll Road, Tuesday afternoon.

Edmonton police say the driver of a Toyota Rav 4 was travelling north on 99 Street approaching 63 Avenue when the driver of a southbound semitruck began turning east onto 63 Avenue.

Due to the icy conditions, the driver of the Rav 4 braked and wound up hitting a snowbank, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side.

The driver was not injured.
