Man charged for allegedly stealing a truck in Parkland County

Alberta RCMP says a man has been charged with allegedly stealing a truck in Parkland County.

On Jan. 8, Mounties responded to a report that a civilian was following a stolen Chevrolet truck.

Officers quickly responded and were able to successfully deploy a tire deflation device on the truck, which then came to a stop on a rural property in the area of Alberta Beach, and the driver was taken into custody.

Since, 47-year-old Jasen Pappin from Parkland County, has been charged with possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000, operating a motor vehicle while unauthorized, four counts of failing to comply with a release order, and resisting arrest.
