Alberta basketball club says stolen trailer, some wheelchairs recovered

An Alberta basketball club says its stolen trailer and some of the 15 sports wheelchairs that were inside have been found.
The Alberta Northern Lights Wheelchair Basketball Society provided the update in a Facebook Thursday morning.
“Thanks to all media for helping get the word out!” the group wrote in its brief post.
It did not specify where the trailer was found.
In a news release four days later, Parkland RCMP confirmed the trailer and seven of the 15 stolen wheelchairs were recovered after a member of the public spotted the trailer.
No suspects have been identified.
The trailer was stolen from the parking lot of Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain on Sunday morning.
Parkland RCMP released photos of two suspect pickup trucks on Wednesday.
The Alberta Northern Lights Wheelchair Basketball Society helps Edmonton wheelchair basketball teams travel and compete, mainly across Western Canada. It also provides wheelchairs to schools in Edmonton, and across northern and central Alberta.
