Two arrested in death of Edmonton man

Two men have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the 2023 death of Edmonton resident Ryker Dingman.

Maskwacis RCMP were called to a rural site on Montana First Nation on May 10, 2023, where they found the body of the 33-year-old man. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later ruled the death a homicide.

Investigators say Dingman was involved in an altercation at a home in Edmonton before being taken to the rural location where he was found.

Brandon Dean Regamey, 29, of Maskwacis and Jaden Michael Omeasoo of Edmonton have both been charged with manslaughter. Omeasoo has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Wetaskiwin court on Nov. 25.
