Elections Canada estimates over 14k voters cast ballots in Battle River–Crowfoot advanced polls

Elections Canada is estimating over 14,000 voters have cast their ballots in the advanced polls for the Battle River–Crowfoot riding.

The riding has gathered a lot of attention across Canada as Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre is looking for a seat in the House of Commons.

Additionally, the riding has gained attention due to the longest ballot initiative.

Advanced polls were open from Aug. 8 to 11.

During that time, Elections Canada estimates that 14,454 electors cast their vote.

The byelection is on Monday, August 18.
