Man charged in Sherwood Park drug trafficking investigation

Alberta RCMP say a 40-year-old man from Edmonton has been charged with drug trafficking offences.
Mounties say in April, they began an investigation into drug trafficking in Sherwood Park.
RCMP say they found and seized:
- 5,259 g of marijuana
- 18.62 g of cocaine
- 370 Xanax tablets
- 31 tablets of Alprazolam
- 22 Xanax bars
- 17.5 g of methamphetamine
On May 23, officers took 40-year-old Stephan Ronald Moss into custody in connection to the investigation.
Moss has been charged with four counts of trafficking cocaine, two counts of trafficking a controlled substance (one for methamphetamine, one for Xanax), four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (one for cocaine, one for methamphetamine, one for Xanax, and one for MDMA), and possession of proceeds of a crime under $5,000.
Moss has since been released on an undertaking and is subject to conditions. He is expected to appear in court on July 30 in Sherwood Park.
