University Avenue and 114 Street intersection will be closed to traffic for three-and-a-half days as City of Edmonton crews will conduct at-grade crossing track rehabilitation.
The intersection will be closed from June 27 at 8 p.m. to July 1 at 6 a.m.
Vehicles travelling west on University Avenue will be able to turn north and south onto 114 Street. Vehicles heading south on Groat Road are encouraged to use 87 Avenue.

Pedestrian restrictions will also be in place. Pedestrians are asked to use alternate routes across 114 Street at 78 Avenue or 83 Avenue.
Impact on LRT station
Officials say McKernan/Belgravia LRT station will also be closed to accommodate this work and ETS will run a split service.
North of the work, Capital Line trains will run between Health Sciences/Jubilee and Clareview stations.
Metro Line trains will run between NAIT/Blatchford Market and Health Sciences/Jubilee stations.
Regular LRT service will resume on July 1.
LRT replacement service will be available between South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park and University stations between 8 p.m. on Friday, June 27 and the end of service on Monday, June 30. Replacement buses will run every 7-8 minutes on June 27, 28 and 29 and every 5 minutes on June 30.
Officials said crews will work overnight to expedite work and residents may experience overnight noise. Paths adjacent to the intersection will remain open during construction, and flaggers will be present to assist pedestrians and cyclists.
