Woman arrested after man injured in southwest Edmonton shooting

One person was shot but not seriously injured in southwest Edmonton on Tuesday.

Police were responding to a weapons complaint at 5:49 p.m. around Oeming Road and Bulyea Road.

When officers arrived, they located a female suspect and a man who sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.

The woman was arrested without incident and the man was taken to the hospital. Police say the suspect and victim knew each other.

An investigation is underway.
