Leduc man charged in child pornography investigation

RCMP in Leduc says a 37-year-old man is facing child pornography charges after an investigation earlier this month.

Mounties say on Jan. 15, as part of an investigation regarding a man who was believed to be in possession of child pornography and believed to be distributing it, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Leduc.

While executing the search warrant, Mounties took Anton Stepanko into custody. He has since been charged with possession, distribution, and accessing child pornography.

Stepanko is expected to appear in court Thursday in Leduc.
