Intersection of 199 Street, Edgemont Road reopened following 2-vehicle collision

The intersection of 199 Street and Edgemont Road was closed on Friday morning due to a serious two-vehicle collision.

EPS issued a release just after 7 a.m., saying a serious collision had occurred and asked motorists to avoid the area.

Traffic was diverted onto other roadways, including Lessard Road and Elston Gate.

The intersection was reopened just after 10:30 a.m.

At this time, police have not confirmed if anyone was injured.
