Canadian acts Loud Luxury, The Beaches headlining Oilers Game 6 pregame concert

Edmonton Oilers fans heading down to Rogers Place for the big game Friday night will be getting another dose of pre-game entertainment.

OEG Sports and Entertainment (OEGSE) and Rogers have announced Canadian acts Loud Luxury and The Beaches will headline the Rogers Festival at the Final at ICE District ahead of Game 6 of the 2024 Stanley Cup final.

The concert will kickoff at 4 p.m. in Scotiabank Fan Park outside Rogers Place, and will be free for all. The doors to the arena will open at 4:30 p.m. for those attending the game.

Special concert viewing will be reserved for Rogers customers

Rogers has also confirmed parts of the show will be broadcast during pregame coverage on Sportsnet and CBC that begins at 6 p.m.

“We’re so excited to see the Stanley Cup Final come back to Edmonton for Game 6 so we can once again celebrate with our customers and fans with another amazing game-day experience,” said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, Rogers.

Loud Luxury is a Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based international touring dance music duo. The group was formed while attending Western University in London, Ont.

The Beaches are a two-time Juno award-winning rock band from Toronto consisting of two sisters and their close friends.

Shania Twain and Our Lady Peace previously headlined the Rogers Festival concert series ahead of games 3 and 4 in Edmonton.

Edmonton has battled back from a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup final against the Florida Panthers with consecutive victories to force Game 6 on Friday. Game 7, if necessary, would be Monday in South Florida.
