Police in Edmonton have charged a woman in connection to a New Year’s Day homicide in 2023.
The EPS says on Jan. 1, 2023, officers responded to a “sudden death” at a home near 107 Avenue and 106 Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man dead. At the time, the man was not identified, and investigators were treating the death as suspicious.
An autopsy identified the man as 70-year-old Ronald Bell. The Edmonton Medical Examiner also stated the death could be ruled a homicide due to the cause of death, which Edmonton police withheld.
