Gretzky predicts Calgary Flames would beat Edmonton Oilers in potential playoff series

Wayne Gretzky has unveiled his Stanley Cup playoff bracket and Calgary Flames fans will love at least part of it.
Gretzky, who became the best player in the NHL as a member of the Edmonton Oilers, made his picks known in an NHL social media post where he predicts the Flames beating the Oilers in a potential battle of Alberta in the second round of the playoffs.

Although he goes on to predict the Flames will fall to the St. Louis Blues in the Western Conference Finals, Gretzky chose Calgary to triumph over his former squad.
The Edmonton Oilers Instagram account, clearly heartbroken at the prophecy from The Great One, commented on the post, saying “Ouch, Wayne.”
Gretzky, who holds or shares more than 60 NHL records, ended up choosing the Carolina Hurricanes to win the Stanley Cup over the St. Louis Blues.
