AHS support text line expanding services

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Alberta Health Services has added two new text lines to their Text4Hope services where Albertans can reach out if they need support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Text4Hope Addiction Support and Text4Hope Cancer Care are the two new additions.
Each of the lines is designed to help people who are dealing with psychological issues related to addiction and cancer issues.
AHS says the expanded services have been funded by the Mental Health Foundation.
Text4Hope launched in March and thousands of Albertans have subscribed to the service.
Each text line is free to use.
