Edmonton firefighters battle industrial blaze Wednesday evening

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says no injuries have been reported following a fire in an industrial area near 60 Avenue and 96 Street Wednesday evening.

A report came in around 5:48 p.m., and crews arrived at the scene six minutes later. They were met with an outdoor garbage fire.

Paramedics and Edmonton police were also at the scene.

Crews worked on scene throughout the night, and the fire was declared out by 8:09 a.m. Thursday.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
