Police say a 38-year-old woman was injured in a crash in southwest Edmonton on Monday morning that saw a vehicle flip upside down and another sustain serious frontal damage.
The Edmonton Police Service says it was called about the two-vehicle collision on Terwillegar Drive and 23 Avenue around 8:30 a.m.
Police say the woman driving one of the vehicles was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There were no other reported injuries, according to EPS.

Edmonton police say believe a northbound Mazda CX-5 and an eastbound Mercedes Benz collided in the southwest corner of the intersection.
CityNews was at the scene before 10 a.m. The damaged Mercedes could be seen in the middle of the intersection; a child’s car seat was next to it, on the road. Several metres away was the upside down Mazda.
Edmonton police’s collision investigation team was on the scene, with other officers directing traffic. Both the east and westbound lanes were closed to vehicles, and motorists were asked to seek different routes.
The EPS major collision investigations section is continuing to investigate.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dash camera footage to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567
