Fire destroys house in Edmonton’s Castle Downs neighbourhood

Firefighters responded to an early morning fire Monday just before 6 a.m. in northwest Edmonton.

The blaze destroyed a single-family home in the Castle Downs neighbourhood near 120 Street and 138 Avenue.

The fire was declared under control at 7:20 a.m., but crews were still working to put the fire out.

The front of the house was completely charred.

Fire crews told CityNews the cause of the fire is not known and no injuries were reported.
