Home damaged by fire in northeast Edmonton

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says a home has been damaged following a fire Tuesday afternoon.

EFRS responded to a house fire near 162 Avenue and 49 Street at 12:46 p.m.

When crews arrived three minutes later, they found heavy smoke coming from the home, and fire extending to a neighbouring home.

No injuries were reported, and the fire was declared out at 2:16 p.m.
