Edmonton police share photos of SUV in fatal Castle Downs shooting

Police are sharing photos of a vehicle they suspect could be linked to the February shooting death of a 38-year-old man in northwest Edmonton.

The Edmonton Police Service is looking for information about a black 2012-2015 Audi Q5 SUV believed to be the suspect vehicle in the Feb. 16 killing of Alinur Mohamed Mussa in Castle Downs.

Mussa, 38, was found injured by police officers near 109 Street and 166 Avenue that afternoon. He was taken to hospital where he was declared dead. An autopsy later confirmed he died of gunshot wounds, and his death was a homicide.

At the time police said Mussa was shot while he was inside a vehicle. At the crime scene that day was a black GMC SUV with its passenger-side window smashed.
