Crews respond to fire at north Edmonton restaurant

Fire crews responded to a structure fire at the Newcastle Shopping Centre in north Edmonton Monday morning.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) says crews arrived at 9:16 a.m., with seven trucks responding.

Crews got the fire under control at 9:29 a.m.

CityNews was on scene and saw crews coming in and out of Apna Dhaba Indian Kitchen.

The fire was put out at 10:04 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
