Edmonton firefighters putting out final hot spots at abandoned house in Rosslyn

A fire at a boarded-up abandoned house in north Edmonton early Thursday morning is under investigation.

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services tells CityNews firefighters were called to the house at 111 Street and 135 Avenue in the Rosslyn neighbourhood at 4:13 a.m.

Crews were on scene two minutes later and the fire was declared under control at 5:59 a.m.

EFRS says one crew was still on scene shortly before noon to put out “the few remaining hot spots.”

No injuries were reported in the blaze.
