Police say they are looking for a suspect in a southeast Edmonton shooting from earlier this year that was allegedly targeted.

The Edmonton Police Service says the shooting happened Jan. 16 at 7:47 p.m. in the Walker neighbourhood.

Caught on surveillance video, the suspect pulled up to a townhouse complex on Watt Boulevard and 12 Avenue in what police describe as a white hatchback vehicle.

The suspect then approached the building, paused, then fired several shots – at least six – towards one of the units.

Police believe the shooting was targeted, but they say the wrong townhouse was hit.

    There were no injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
