On June 4, Mounties in Whitecourt received a call regarding an erratic driver.

Since, 32-year-old Joshua Carter and 33-year-old Taylor Clarke have been charged with a combined 16 charges, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of unstamped tobacco.

“I would like to thank the public for taking the time to call the Whitecourt RCMP regarding this incident,” said S/Sgt. Matthew Clarke, Detachment Commander of the Whitecourt RCMP.

“You, as members of the community, are most often the first to notice anything suspicious or any criminal activity. We would like to keep encouraging this behaviour as it allows us to better protect the community as a whole.”

RCMP say that Carter and Clarke are both expected to appear in court in Whitecourt on June 24.
