Shooting in Edmonton’s Alberta Avenue sends man to hospital

Edmonton police are investigating after a man sustained serious injuries in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Alberta Avenue.

Police say officers responded to a shooting in central Edmonton around 120 Avenue and 88 Street at 4 a.m.

When police arrived, they found a man had been seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital.

The area was seen taped off and investigators were at the scene. Police say the man is in serious condition and they continue to investigate.
