Edmonton police are turning to the public in an effort to identify a man believed to be connected to an arson incident in southeast Edmonton last month.
On April 8, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says crews responded to the commercial structure fire around 12:40 a.m. Crews called a second-alarm fire at 12:47 a.m. to bring in additional units for support; approximately 40 firefighters were at the scene.
It took about two hours to douse the flames. Some crews still remained on scene late Tuesday morning to ensure the fire was extinguished.

EPS later confirmed that 25 units were destroyed, and the fire resulted in several million dollars in damages.
Monday, EPS released security footage that showed a man, around 6′ tall with an average build, who could be seen wearing a black hoodie, dark bandana covering his face, jeans and royal blue shoes.

Police believe the man is connected to the fire and are trying to identify him.
Security footage also showed the man driving a white Ford F150 that has a red maple leaf on the driver’s side of the tailgate.
If anyone has any information, including video footage in the area between midnight and 1 a.m., they are asked to contact investigators at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
