Edmonton police say a motorcyclist is in hospital following a collision Thursday afternoon.
EPS says officers responded to Sherwood Park Freeway near Argyll Road around 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a collision.
Through an investigation, it was determined that a 52-year-old man who was riding a motorcycle lost control while driving east along Argyll Road.
After losing control, the man went over a curb, slid down a grass hill, and landed in westbound traffic. His motorcycle — a 2009 Harley — also slid down the hill before it collided with a 2013 Toyota Corolla.
Paramedics also responded to the scene and took the man to hospital with serious injuries. He is now reportedly in stable condition. The driver of the Corolla was uninjured.
