Fairview RCMP have seized dozens of firearms and a significant amount of stolen property following the execution of two search warrants on a property in Fairview, Alberta.
The investigation began after RCMP received information from the public suggesting that multiple firearms were being stored at the location.
Officers acted on the tip, executing the first search warrant, which led to the discovery of 91 firearms—many of which were tagged with handmade price labels and appeared ready for resale.
A large quantity of ammunition was also recovered during the initial search.
While on site, officers also noticed a significant number of other items suspected to be stolen.
This observation prompted a second search. On April 7, Fairview RCMP, with assistance from the Peace River RCMP Forensic Identification Section, returned to the property with a second warrant.
The follow-up search confirmed the presence of numerous stolen items, including vehicles, trailers, ATVs, generators, a motorcycle, and a welding skid.
The investigation remains ongoing as RCMP work to determine how the firearms and stolen goods were acquired, and to identify any individuals involved in the operation.
