Edmonton police have released a sketch of a woman found dead in a central Edmonton garbage bin, hoping it will lead to her identification.
The woman’s body was discovered near Bellamy Hill Road on Dec. 29. Video footage shows her walking alone through an alley near 99 Ave., between Bellamy Hill and 103 Street, before climbing into the bin.
While police do not suspect foul play in her death, traditional identification methods have not yielded results. The missing persons unit has shared a sketch of the woman to seek public assistance.
The woman is described as aged between 25 and 35 years old, with shoulder-length brown and red hair, brown eyes, and a slim build. She stood about 5′8″ tall and had a flower tattoo on her right shoulder blade. She was found wearing brown boots and a brown winter jacket.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Edmonton police at 780-423-4567 or by dialing #377 from a cell phone.
