The family confirmed the identity of the 13-year-old as Eric Omeasoo.
Through the initial stages of an investigation, EPS learned that the teen was part of a group of four youths and an 18-year-old who allegedly assaulted a 34-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman at the LRT station.
