High Level Bridge reopen following closure due to nearby water main break

Edmonton police say the High Level Bridge has been reopened after it was closed due to a water main break in the area.

Police have not confirmed which side of the bridge is impacted by the water main break, or if anything nearby has been impacted at this time.

The bridge was closed for around an hour due to the water main break, and drivers were asked to avoid the area during that time.

City crew have dealt with several water main breaks across the city over the last few days as most of Canada has been under an extreme cold warning.
