Police looking for man believed to be connected to locker room thefts in Edmonton

Edmonton police are looking to identify a man believed to be connected to a series of locker room thefts at fitness centres across the city.

EPS says since May, they’ve been able to link a man to six separate incidents, where credit and banking cards were stolen and used to purchase thousands of dollars in lottery tickets and merchandise.

The man has been described as short with a scruffy beard. He has been seen wearing a medical mask, a black baseball cap or dark-coloured toque, a black jacket with a large silver zipper, dark jeans and black shoes with white soles, and is often wearing an earbud in his left ear.

Anyone who may know the man is asked to contact police at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
