Edmonton police seek to identify March 2024 shooting, arson suspects in Beaumaris

By News Staff

Police are looking to identify two suspects in a shooting and vehicle arson in north Edmonton from early last year.

The Edmonton Police Service says at least 10 bullets were fired at a white SUV parked outside a Beaumaris home — 102 Street and 158 Avenue – on March 29 around 10 p.m.

Authorities say stray rounds struck a home and multiple vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Shortly after the shooting, police say a black SUV believed to be connected was seen burning at 92 Street and 144 Avenue.

“The vehicle fire damaged multiple adjacent vehicles and property, and posed a significant risk to the community,” police said in a news release.

Police released surveillance video from the scene that shows two suspects running from the burning vehicle.
