The Weeknd to host concert at Commonwealth Stadium in July

Edmontonians will see some ‘Blinding Lights’ this summer as Canadian music icon and ‘Starboy’ — The Weeknd — will be rolling into town.
The Weeknd will be performing at Commonwealth Stadium on July 19, as part of The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn tour with Playboi Carti and Mike Dean.
“We are very excited that Edmonton was chosen as a stop on The Weeknd’s tour,” said Heather Seutter, director, Commonwealth Stadium. “Artists like The Weeknd who perform in our city play a vital role in fostering cultural identity, creating community and driving growth in Edmonton’s economy.”
Fans won’t want to say ‘I Was Never There’ and can ‘Save Your Tears’ by getting tickets for the concert, which will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 7 on Ticketmaster.
