2 men injured in stabbing at Londonderry Shopping Centre: police

Edmonton police say two men were injured when an altercation escalated into a stabbing at the Londonderry Shopping Centre on Tuesday evening.

The Edmonton Police Service says officers were called to the shopping centre at 68 Street and 137 Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

Officers were told two men were arguing when one of them tried to rob the other “and an altercation took place.”

It’s not clear if both individuals were stabbed, but they were both taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Edmonton police took both men into custody, and charges are pending.
